The UK government’s conditions set before Palestinian Authority chief Mahmud Abbas in his bid for UN recognition are nothing more than a conspiracy to ditch the bid altogether.
Britain wants Palestinians to not have the ability to pursue the Israeli regime’s authorities for war crime at international bodies such as the International Criminal Court (ICC) and the International Court of Justice (ICJ).
This is a complete hypocrisy in itself first, and secondly it gives the Israelis a free reign to commit war crimes as before and to the extent they desire.
To commit the Palestinians not to apply for ICC or ICJ membership means there are too many war criminals inside the Zionist entity that they do not want to be impeded or stopped.
Mahmud Abbas is also being asked by Britain to commit to an immediate resumption of peace talks “without preconditions” with Israel.
This means that the UK government is seeking to legalize all the already illegal settlements which are being built on the occupied Palestinian lands.
The illegitimacy of Jewish settlements is something out of question and it is the all legitimate right of Palestinians to demand a halt to any settlement construction before any talks are to take place.
For Palestinian refugees to have the right to return and including the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas in any future talks are also among the core preconditions stipulated in the Palestinian cause.
And the third condition is that the general assembly’s resolution does not require the UN Security Council to follow suit.
This means that any future Palestinian state would not be able to extend its recognition process, therefore, automatically there will never be a state called “Palestine”.
So, it is crystal clear that the UK imperialism does not want to resolve anything in the Middle East, but it wants to push ahead with its own conspiracy.
