 There has been an ongoing battle between researchers and the natural gas and oil industries over whether or not hydraulic fracturing (fracking) is definitively leading to an increase in earthquake activity. Since September of 2010, nearly 1,000 earthquakes have rattled Arkansas and the area around the New Madrid Fault Line. Previous to this, Arkansas had a total of 38 quakes in 2009. Yet two cities, Greenbrier and Guy had a swarm of 30 small earthquakes in a four-day period in early 2011, which paralleled fracking activity in the same area. |

 The U.S. and New Zealand conducted secret tests of what is being described as a "tsunami bomb," which experts said was aimed at devastating coastal cities by using a series of underwater explosions that would result in massive tidal waves. The tests, which were initially carried out around the waters of New Caledonia and Auckland during World War II, "showed that the weapon was feasible," Britain's Telegraph newspaper reported recently. The paper said a series of 10 large offshore blasts were enough to potentially create a 3-foot tsunami that would be capable of swallowing a small city along a coastline. |

 Sources are reporting that the US Naval Research Laboratory, and engineers from the Plasma Physics Division, have used HAARP (High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program)array to create an artificial version of an aurora borealis "that can be used to explore ionospheric occurrences and their impact on communications, navigation and space weather". Using the powerful HAARP transmitter in Gakona, Alaska, the lab produced what they called a "sustained high density plasma cloud in Earth’s upper atmosphere". |

 We now have evidence that Blizzicane Nemo was another nasty HAARP created storm attack upon the New England area. Why TPTB continue to focus destruction upon this area remains a mystery as Nemo joins Hurricane Sandy and the Sandy Hook school shooting as devastating events to take place within the past several months within that vicinity.

 A 7.7 Earthquake hit the coast of British Columbia on Saturday night, and there has since been as many as 40 aftershocks today. Including one that measured 6.4 in magnitude. The quake sent many residents on the coast, fleeing for higher ground due to tsunami warnings. That where issued as far away as Hawaii.
The Earthquake originated on the island of Haida Gwaii, other wise know as the Queen Charlotte Islands region. The islands are located along the Queen Charlotte Fault, which is an active transform fault that produces significant earthquakes every 3–30 years. |

 Six Italian scientists and an ex-government official have been sentenced to six years in prison over the 2009 deadly earthquake in L’Aquila.A regional court found them guilty of multiple manslaughter.
Prosecutors said the defendants gave a falsely reassuring statement before the quake, while the defence maintained there was no way to predict major quakes.
The 6.3 magnitude quake devastated the city and killed 309 people.
Many smaller tremors had rattled the area in the months before the quake that destroyed much of the historic centre. |

Especially now, because the quakes in the trench zone are getting not just more frequent, but stronger.It was startling to find out just how massive and deep this fault line trench is. The consequences of a substantial subterranean landslide and resultant tsunami on the entire heavily populated low-lying island region of the Caribbean is almost unfathomable. On Saturday, a 6.4-magnitude earthquake struck the city of Ahar, near the provincial capital Tabriz, at 15:53 local time (1123 GMT). The quake struck 60 kilometers (37 miles) northeast of Tabriz at a depth of 9.9 kilometers (6.2 miles). Another quake measuring 6.3 on the Richter scale jolted Varzaqan and Haris, which are located near Ahar, 11 minutes later at a similar depth. |

 An earthquake, measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale, has shaken Japan’s Hokkaido, the US Geological Survey says. The quake took place on Sunday at 0441 GMT and its epicenter, with a depth of 57.70 kilometers, was initially determined to be at 42.5113 degrees north latitude and 142.9201 degrees east longitude. The latest earthquake comes over two weeks after a Japanese parliamentary panel’s report said the March 2011 incident at the Fukushima nuclear plant was a "man-made disaster" and not only a result of the tsunami that hit the country last year. |

A total of 71 people, including women and children, have been confirmed dead as a result of two earthquakes that hit northern Afghanistan on Monday, Afghan police say.
"Our counting indicates that 71 people with majority of them women and children have lost their lives," said Burka district police commander Habib Rahman on Wednesday.
Dozens of people were buried in a landslide triggered by two quakes measuring 5.4 and 5.7 on the Richter scale in Baghlan province, 160 km north of the capital Kabul. |

 'An earthquake measuring 5.8 on the Richter scale has struck northern Italy, leaving at least 15 people dead and several others missing.The strong earthquake hit on Tuesday morning, in the same region which was still recovering from another deadly tremor just nine days ago, killing at least 15 people, with scores still missing.
